Sidney wants to be your new Best Friend

Meet Sidney. A Yellow Lab in Battle Ground, WA
Adult • Female • 70lbs

Sidney is a sweet Yellow Lab mix. She has plenty of energy, and loves to run and chase sticks and the birds she’s utterly sure that she will catch. She just wants to be your best friend. She shows it by laying her paw and head in your lap asking for your undying love and attention. Sydney can be protective, but is still good with other dogs and cats. She is fond of both young and older children. She is crate trained and lives her life indoors and outdoors. She would do very well in a home with a good-sized yard and fence. She is 7 years old and weighs 70lbs.

Let Gretsch Strum your Loneliness away.

Meet Gretsch. A Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher Mix
5 yrs old • Male • 18 pounds

Gretsch has been at the Family Dogs New Life Shelter since before Christmas. We think it should be Christmas all year round and that this handsome gentleman needs you to put on your Santa outfit and come meet him.

A loyal, protective, guardian named Gretsch is exactly what you need to sooth away those winter blues! He’ll make a wonderful little lap buddy for a single person or couple with a low traffic home- he’s not looking to play the Rose Garden… small house shows are more his style. He is just not the best fit for a family set, and needs a quiet home without a lot of visitors where he can feel safe and secure. He does well with other dogs and cats too, is crate trained and even housebroken (as long as you get him outside on schedule). As a pretty chill guy, he likes to lounge around and sunbath, nap at the foot of the bed and play an occasional game of fetch. He is super affectionate to his person with protection skills that are out-of-site…so he does get a little feisty around strangers. We know you understand… Why don’t you come in and spend some time getting to know Gretsch, then maybe take him home… so that you can make lovely music together.

Adoption fee is $160 and it includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Make my Day! Meet Dirty Harry

Meet Dirty Harry. A Short Haired Rabbit
Male • 5 yrs old • 7lbs

My original name was Harold, but since I lost my dear bond mate Maude, I like being called Harry. I would love to be bonded again. I also love my exercise time and can do especially nutty, excellent binky dances. A tiny bit shy, I prefer a quiet home but I am mellowing out and am as gentle as they come. Please come and meet me or learn more by contacting my foster home: jhhutto2@msn.com.

For Dirty Harry we request a indoor home ONLY, and in the greater Portland / Salem / Vancouver / Camas areas please.

Cash in on Love and Affection

Meet Cash. A Domestic Short Hair/Brown Tabby
Medium • Young • Male

If Cash could talk we are sure he would say ~ “Hi! My name is Cash. If you are looking for fun, I’m your cat. I’m curious, playful, and affectionate. And I’m still growing so you can teach me the rules of your house pretty easily. Come meet me to find out more details about my personality.”

Cash is a very cute, playful lap cat with very pretty markings. Cash is a little over a year old and weighs about 11 pounds. He was found abandoned by a rescuer and taken to a veterinary hospital for a checkup. There it was discovered he’s FIV+. That’s not a deal breaker, however. He can’t give this to humans or other animals who are not cats. But it does mean he must be the only cat in the household or in a household with only other FIV+ cats. Cash doesn’t understand why you’d need another cat anyway. He thinks he’s interesting enough and loving enough and playful enough to merit being your one and only.

To meet Cash or any of the more than 200 other cats available for adoption, please visit the Cat Adoption Team (C.A.T.), an adoption shelter, 14175 S.W. Galbreath Drive, Sherwood. 503-925-8903 or find more info at www.catadoptionteam.org.
