Featured Pets Looking for Loving Homes

Let Butterfly fly into your Heart

Meet Butterfly. A Domestic Short Hair
Female • born in 2009.

What a precious girl. She has been around the block a time or two and has had many litters of kittens and now it is time for her to relax and take care of herself and be loved on and pampered in a safe and loving home. She is gentle and loves watching the birds and squirrels out her window. She is a people person and not a fan of other cats in her space.

Explore with Lewis

Meet Lewis. An Australian Shepherd
Medium • Adult • Male
Im a handsome boy in a red merle coat who has more energy than I can use where I currently live and sometimes it gets me into trouble. I currently sleep in a doghouse outside but could probably learn to be a house-dog as I am crate trained. When I’m ready to listen (just show me a treat and Ill pay attention) I am pretty smart and learn fast.

I need a home where someone has time to teach me how to do agility or herd sheep or something active. A fenced yard is needed. A home with no cats, or cats that know how to avoid dogs who chase them, is best – I have never caught a cat but think its lots of fun to chase them. Id like to be able to take my sister, Mabel, with me but its not a deal breaker. I am 2 1/2 years old and weigh 50#.

Fellon wants to Steal Your Heart

Meet Fellon. Domestic Short Hair-Black And White,Tuxedo
Medium • Adult • Female

Two-year old Fellon would like you to note there are two “L’s” in her name — this girl is no cat burglar (although she might steal your heart). Fellon has lived in a household with adults only. She was brought to the shelter by a gentleman whose son left her behind when he moved. The parents already had other pets and couldn’t keep Fellon. She is a nice, sweet, friendly kitty who likes people better than toys and is talkative (but will take time to listen to your stories). She loves petting and being held and will give head butts and rub on your hand to keep the affection connection. She loves cat treats, is a good litter box user, and would enjoy a home where you’d never consider moving without her. Can you provide that? Fellon sure hopes so. About the only thing Fellon doesn’t like is having her tail pulled — but you wouldn’t do that would you

Maggie is Affectionate and Playful

Meet Maggie
Adult • Female • Lionhead Rabbit

Maggie is a spayed Lionhead rabbit who is full of love. She is gentle, except when you offer her a kale leaf, when she is all into the tug-o-war! Maggie likes to beat up her food bowl before she eats from it, too, but don’t worry, she won’t bite. This is a playful bun who will desire lots of attention from her parents and toys to keep her busy. She is great with other bunnies and oblivious to cats. The more you hug her, the more calm and sweet she is, especially if you give her head-rubs, gentle pats and lots of time out of her pen.

You can arrange to meet us or learn more by contacting her foster home: lopbunny88@aol.com.

Rabbit Advocate adoptable rabbits are fostered in the homes of volunteers. Because the rabbits live as members of a family, they can provide useful information about any rabbit that you considering adopting. This includes info on the rabbit’s personality, current diet, favorite treats and toys, and the answers to other questions you may have.
