Meet Lewis. An Australian Shepherd

Im a handsome boy in a red merle coat who has more energy than I can use where I currently live and sometimes it gets me into trouble. I currently sleep in a doghouse outside but could probably learn to be a house-dog as I am crate trained. When I’m ready to listen (just show me a treat and Ill pay attention) I am pretty smart and learn fast.I need a home where someone has time to teach me how to do agility or herd sheep or something active.

By golly, miss Mollie is one heck of a dog! So I was thinking you could folly in love with me! Oh, golly I’m jolly and ever so clever…so, enough playing around. Here’s the deal. I’m a pretty great lady. I do well with other dogs, cats and children too. Plus I am already housebroken, crate trained and I have nice house manners…

We featured Gretsch here last May, but are compelled to give him some attention again. Gretsch has been at the Family Dogs New Life Shelter since before last Christmas. We think it should be Christmas all year round and that this handsome gentleman needs you to put on your Santa outfit and come meet him. The holidays are fast approaching and we hate the thought of Gretch spending another Christmas without a family.
